From 20 to 21 June 2024, the University of Basel together with Basler Afrika Bibliographien will host the 6th Biennial AEGIS CRG African History Conference. Registration is open until 30 April 2024.

6th Biennial AEGIS CRG African History Conference

The aim of the Collaborative Research Group African History is to organise Africanist historians in Europe, to enhance the visibility of African history within the larger field of African Studies and that of history in Europe, and to promote the development of African history as a discipline within the larger domain of humanities and social sciences.

The conference is free of charge. Those wishing to take part must register before 30 April 2024 via online-form.
