Online tool explores countries’ climate action plans

A new interactive online tool helps countries to access and compare their priorities and ambitions related to climate action plans

NDC Explorer Tool

The tool – NDC Explorer – was developed from 163 national actions on climate change. It results from a interdisciplinary working group of experts from the African Centre of Technology Studies, the German Development Institute, the Stockholm Environment Institute and the UNFCC.

The tool goes beyond mitigation and include aspects of adaptation, planning processes and discussions about green economy, disaster risk management and sustainable development goals.

The tool allows user to toggle between the 163 intended and actual climate action plans. Furthermore it offers opportunities for policymakers, scientist and other actors to gain insights into the status of climate actions, specially in african countries.

The NDC Explorer tool is online available at: http://klimalog.die-gdi.de/ndc/#NDCExplorer
