Switzerland’s Sixth National Communication and First Biennial Report under the UNFCCC

On 3rd February 2014, Switzerland handed in the sixth national communication for the attention of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. The report summarizes Switzerland’s climate policy up to the year 2020 and informs about the development of greenhouse gas emissions between 1990 and 2011. Furthermore, it presents the measures that have been taken to reduce emissions and shows the impacts of climate change. The report also informs about climate adaptation measures as well as Swiss contributions to climate change research.
