Since the early 1990s, genetic research has grown worldwide into an important scientific field and has led to substantial discoveries both in fundamental and applied research. On behalf of the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN), the Forum for Genetic Research has developed indicators to measure and monitor relevant research activities in Swiss public institutions and to compare them among different countries.
The indicators to monitor public research activities in the field of genetic research are collected yearly and published in a report every three years. Below you will find the most recent report.
The next issue of the report "Indikatoren für die Erfassung von Trends der aus öffentlicher Hand finanzierten Forschung im Bereich Genforschung" will be published in 2017.
