The Swiss Collaborative Network for Non-communicable diseases (SCNNCD) will build on existing partnerships to develop research and to compile experience in the area of Non-communicable Diseases in low- and middle-income countries, addressing the full spectrum of issues from identifying the determinants of disease to the delivery of care. ->> Budget: CHF 20 Mio

The aim of this project is to develop technology-based innovative solutions that will improve the quality of health for children and youth in low- and middle-income countries in sub-Saharan Africa. ->> Budget: CHF 12 Mio

The two main objectives of the proposed work are to strengthen the efforts relating to evaluation of improved diagnostics and new drug candidates for antimicrobial resistant diseases and to promote surveillance and response to antimicrobial resistance with an emphasis on low- and middle-income countries. ->> Budget: CHF 40 Mio

The loss of bioactive nutrients along the value chain of food production and processing is co-responsible for widespread malnutrition in low- and middle-income countries. This project aims to identify opportunities to render large amounts of unused biomass available for human consumption. ->> Budget: CHF 400'000.-
