To engage the scientific community in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences and the Swiss Commission for UNESCO organise this conference that sets the framework, illustrates the challenges and showcases contributions.

SDG Conference 2018

With the "Agenda 2030", the international community determined 17 goals on global sustainable economic, social and environmental development. Adopted as the SDGs in September 2015, all states committed themselves to achieve these goals until 2030.
