PiA - Physik im Advent 2024

“PiA - Physics in Advent” is a special kind of Advent calendar: a physics Advent calendar. Young researchers and anyone else who enjoys it can carry out 24 simple experiments and solve physics puzzles.

Every day from December 1 to 24, an experiment is presented in a video clip. Participants can then answer questions on the website. The solution to the physics question posed in the experiment is also available as a video. In addition to the fun of experimenting, there is also something to be won. In addition, the Swiss Physical Society (SPG) is sponsoring special prizes for school teams and for individual pupils from Swiss schools.
These prizes are sponsored by the SPG, SCNAT, the Metrohm Foundation and Supermagnete.ch.

PiA is designed for pupils in grades five to ten or aged 11 to 18.

Those interested can register via the official PiA website, which is linked on the right.
