What can we learn from the experiences of Alpine countries in governing and implementing their climate adaptation policies so far? What are success factors, good practice examples, and future challenges? Which innovations and enhancement options are needed for well-governed climate adaptation - between levels, sectors, and countries? The Final Conference of the GoApply project will tackle these questions.

At the GoApply Final Conference, the partners - representing the adaptation coordinators of their countries and regions - will present their main results and key messages in a focussed and concise way. Going beyond dissemination, the conference will employ activating formats to stimulate debate, facilitate exchange and promote improved governance of climate change adaptation in the Alpine Countries. Particular emphasis is put on interactive approaches, exchange, and good practice examples. Among others, participants will co-create solutions for climate adaptation governance challenges, which call for concrete future action, in "Design Labs". These have a playful and competitive character, shall provide impulses for future adaptation governance – and let participants have fun. A final panel with representatives from national, regional and local level will discuss the future of climate change adaptation, and the role of governance in it, in the Alpine Countries.

The final conference addresses adaptation policy makers and coordinators, sector decision makers, practitioners and researchers from the Alpine Space. This includes public authorities from national, regional and local levels, civil society stakeholders (NGOs, interest groups), universities and research institutions as well as EUSALP and Alpine Convention actors. Participants will be enabled to take up, apply and valorise the GoApply project outputs in their adaptation practice.
