The Responsible Business Forum 2018 will deliver practical solutions across five areas critical to the attainment of the SDGs: Climate action, Urbanisation, Circular economy, Human rights and Food & nutrition
The formulation of the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 was a pivotal moment in acknowledging the role that businesses will play in addressing the world’s social, economic and environmental challenges. Now, all stakeholders in development need to move beyond the theory and articulate clear pathways to achieving those goals.
Each workstream will incorporate inputs on the cross-cutting themes of business, youth, gender, technology, finance and policy, and seek practical, innovative and collaborative approaches to these most compelling issues through a new ‘laboratory format’. Crucially, at the end of the Forum participants will commit to measurable, ambitious outcomes as a benchmark for future success.
