AlpenWoche Intermezzo 2019

GoApply Final Conference

What can we learn from the experiences of Alpine countries in governing and implementing their climate adaptation policies so far? What are success factors, good practice examples, and future challenges? Which innovations and enhancement options are needed for well-governed climate adaptation - between levels, sectors, and countries? The Final Conference of the GoApply project will tackle these questions.

Climate Neighbourhoods

Climate Neighbourhoods' (CN) motto “Let's scale up solutions!” aims at participants from all over the world. As part of the ICCA 2019 the CN addresses ICCA's central question: How can vertical and horizontal cooperation lead to the intensification and dissemination of climate mitigation activities and adaptation to climate change?

4th European Climate Change Adaptation conference

A cooperative approach allows us to improve learning and knowledge exchange in order to deliver optimal solutions. Interaction and collaboration with the disaster risk reduction (DRR) community is a critical element in improving climate change adaptation (CCA), as the communities share similar goals and activities. Bringing the two groups together is particularly important in relation to the goals and targets of the three major international agreements.
