No sustainability without north-south research
The 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) concerns us all. Global challenges such as the climate crisis, cybercrime, migration, biodiversity loss, terrorism or pandemics are urgent and require global solutions.
Against this background, last year, the KFPE invited its associated research institutions to put forward ideas on how research could support implementation of the SDGs.
In response, researchers from 22 institutions have developed project ideas that still need to be elaborated with partners from low- and middle-income countries (LIMICs). The project ideas are very varied, ranging from relatively specific research questions to extensive research programs.
