Save the date: External review of the draft scoping reports for the IPBES nexus and transformative change assessments

The aim of this review is to increase the policy relevance of these future assessments by engaging Governments and stakeholders early in the process of defining the policy questions that these assessments will address. Information on how to register as a reviewer and access the documents will be shared in the beginning of the review periods.

The draft scoping reports for the nexus assessment (thematic assessment of the interlinkages among biodiversity, water, food and health in the context of climate change) and for the transformative change assessment (thematic assessment of the underlying causes of biodiversity loss, determinants of transformative change and options for achieving the 2050 vision for biodiversity) will be open for external review as follows:

Nexus assessment: 5 June 2020 – 31 July 2020 (8 weeks)
Transformative change assessment: 3 July 2020 – 28 August 2020 (8 weeks)
