Thierry Courvoisier elected as president of EASAC

Thierry Courvoisier, currently Vice-President of the European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC) and President of the Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT) and of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences, will be the next President of EASAC from 2017 to 2019. He will succeed Jos van der Meer, whose term as President of EASAC ends in December 2016.
