Further explorations are necessary for a better understanding of life in the solar system and beyond, but also for economic and social benefits. The report was produced under the direction of Thierry Courvoisier, astrophysicist at the University of Geneva and President of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences. EASAC is the association of national science academies in the EU Member States and includes Switzerland.
