Glyphosate is the active ingredient in one of the most widely used weed killers in the world. Politicians, farmers and environmental associations are arguing about the conclusions to be drawn from various expert opinions on the harmfulness of glyphosate for the new authorization of the compound. A new info sheet (available in German and French) provides information on the (eco)toxicological evaluation of glyphosate and explains how the differences in the evaluation by various organisations come about.
