Benefits of animal experimentation

The structure of the body, its metabolism, its composition and many processes from development from a fertilised egg to ageing, are very similar in humans and other mammals. This is the reason why scientific questions, such as the effect of drugs, can be studied in animals. To a certain extent, the results allow conclusions to be drawn about humans.
