On 24 March 2022, the twelfth European Science on Stage festival opens in Prague. About 450 teachers from all over Europe will meet for three days and present their most creative STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) ideas. Thomi Scheuber and Sacha Glardon, members of the Swiss delegation, have been selected with their project "to bee or not to bee" to hold a workshop in which participants will be able to learn about various experiments on the theme of bees and their honey for secondary school students. Thanks to their project, the students in their class were able, among other things, to determine the pollen grains found in different types of honey, to test the antibiotic action of honey and to analyse the sugar present in it. Those teachers use the bee as a common thread in their lessons.

The NSC Science on Stage Switzerland is offering teachers in Switzerland the opportunity to participate in the festival and Thomi and Sacha's workshop via a live webinar from Prague. The programme will include interviews with participants, images of the many stands presenting the projects of the various international delegations and, above all, Thomi and Sacha's workshop.
