Webplattform bringt mehr Biodiversität in Planungs- und Immobilienprojekte
Mehr Biodiversität an und um Immobilien schafft Lebensräume für Tiere und Pflanzen und bringt zugleich konkrete Vorteile für Menschen: Sie mindert Hitze, verbessert das Regenwassermanagement und kann gar den Energiebedarf senken. Die Webtools BioValues™ und BioValues Toolbox™ unterstützen die Planungs- und Immobilienbranche dabei, Biodiversität bei Liegenschaften stärker zu berücksichtigen und mithilfe einfach messbarer Kennwerte und erprobter Werkzeuge gezielt in Planung und Bewirtschaftung einzubeziehen. Nach erfolgreicher Pilotphase gehen die erweiterten Tools nun in den ordentlichen Betrieb über. Am 20. August werden sie in einem Webinar live vorgestellt.

5. Schweizer Landschaftskongress 2026
Der 5. Schweizer Landschaftskongress findet am 3.-4. September 2026 in Zusammenarbeit mit der Eidg. Forschungsanstalt WSL in Davos statt. Das diesjärige Thema ist «Berg und Tal – Stadt und Land: Treffpunkt Landschaft».
Research project FLOW-BIOS
Nature-based solutions play a vital role in addressing the rising risk of flooding across the Alps, but this requires land that is often privately owned. That is why the FLOW-BIOS project, in collaboration with Austrian and Swiss UNESCO biosphere reserves, is investigating how nature-based solutions can be successfully implemented on private land.

Research project REGO
Focusing on Austria and Switzerland, the project REGO investigates how existing governance models in UNESCO Biosphere Reserves are structured and how they can be redesigned to enable Biosphere Reserves to fulfill their diverse responsibilities in nature conservation and human development in the best possible way.
