Symposium & General Assembly SGM 2019
The Symposium & General Assembly 2019 of the Swiss Society for Meteorology was held on Friday, 8 November 2019 at the Alumni-Pavillon in Zurich.
The symposium offered an exciting variety of presentations. Michiko Hama gave an insight into the National Centre for Climate Services NCCS, Sebastian Schemm presented his work on Extratropical cyclones, and Johannes Stähelin told us the story of the world’s longest atmospheric ozone measurements at the Light Climatic Observatory of Arosa. Furthermore, Master students from different Swiss Universities were presenting their work during table talks.
