The popular competition will celebrate its 12th edition in 2025. Three winning teams will be chosen: two will conduct their experiments at CERN, and one at DESY. Up to 70 additional teams will receive special prizes.

All teams that preregister can take part in several online events designed to help them prepare for the competition. Preregistered teams will also be invited to participate in virtual visits to CERN and DESY.

The deadline to submit proposals is 10 April 2025, at 23:59 CEST. For more details, please visit the competition website. The Beamline for Schools competition is fully funded by the CERN & Society Foundation.
