Checking in with… Jochen Markard
During its spring session, the Council of States voted in favour of the indirect counter-proposal to the Blackout Initiative. The construction of new nuclear power stations is to be permitted once again in Switzerland. Jochen Markard is co-author of the report “Prospects for Nuclear Energy in Switzerland” and provides an overview of the latest findings and developments in the field of nuclear energy.

Beurteilung der Tsunamigefährdung in Seen in der Schweiz
Das Webinar stellt die Methodik sowie das Pilotprojekt zur Erhebung der Gefahr durch Tsunamis am Genfersee vor. Darüber hinaus soll die Relevanz der Gefährdung durch See-Tsunamis stärker ins Bewusstsein gerückt werden. Zudem fördert die Veranstaltung den Austausch mit nationalen und internationalen Expertinnen und Experten.

Das dritte «Forum Klima Schweiz – Umgang mit dem Klimawandel» findet am 29. Oktober 2026 im Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern statt. Es steht unter dem Motto «Entscheidungsgrundlagen für die Anpassung». Im Zentrum steht der Abschluss des Programms NCCS-Impacts mit der Präsentation und Diskussion der wichtigsten Resultate.
