Neutrino

The neutrino is an extremely light and electrically uncharged particle that cannot be divided into even smaller particles. It therefore belongs to the elementary particles. Neutrinos are, for example, released during radioactive decay.
The neutrino should not be confused with the neutron. This occurs in atomic nuclei. The neutron is also electrically uncharged, but much heavier than the neutrino and consists of even smaller particles - the quarks. It is therefore not an elementary particle.
